I really appreciate that you understand the place RM was coming from when he made these covers. Understandably, he's embarrassed by these songs, and I wish ARMY would stop requesting them. I get that the beats are catchy, and we all go through that hormonal and experimental stage in our development. But NONE of us like having the most embarrassing moments during those stages constantly brought up and thrown in our faces. It's rude and disrespectful for ARMY to constantly tout these songs and keep them alive "for a laugh". And let's be real, no one is requesting them because the songs are good, they're requesting them to punk RM. We can't insist the world respect our boys as artists, and then play them for fools ourselves. Let's let these songs go where all our past embarrassing moments go - in our memories, to be learned from, but allowed to get dusty and forgotten.

I don’t know why DT would post this. He even posted trouble on YT for other people to find. Namjoon literally deleted this from his discography and he said he was embarrassed that he did this cover. I have been a supporter since you got at least 20 posts here and I have requested videos especially JK’s solo songs, but you managed to do a video on something that Namjoon hates. You could have just done mono or Persona at least. 🙃

All armys have learned about and experienced these songs.. why is it so wrong for him to do the same? Yes it’s controversial, and yes rm deleted it, but the growth is undeniable and Namjoon owned up to it and apologized. He’s a different person now and there’s no reason to attack people for exploring the Namjoon from years ago.. it doesn’t matter. It’s in the past and has stayed in the past. Namjoon is a beautiful lyricist and feminist that we know now and we can be confident in people seeing these songs but also seeing what growth happened because of them.

Some of these comments are coming across as really rude :/ Yes, Joon is embarrassed by this cover, but that doesn't mean DT shouldn't listen to it, and understand WHY he's embarrassed and the obvious growth that's occurred since the cover was made. He's kept it on Patreon, not taken it to YouTube, so there's no chance of an members who watch reactors coming across it. Let the man live! Geez. Thank you for the reaction, as always. I'm excited for you to check out MONO, as I know you'll really appreciate the deepness of that mixtape.

I hope I'm not coming across as criticizing, because that is not my intent. Every ARMY, at some point or other, will encounter these songs as we deep dive into the boys' discography. If you find them on your own, then you learn a bit more about their past. If you don't, then that's good, too. I just don't think it should be pushed like some sort of humorous rite of passage for new reacters by some ARMY. I don't blame DT for digging into it, or for sharing his thoughts on it. If I ran across something "questionable" that may or may not mar a stellar reputation of someone I admire, I would certainly dig into it, develop my own thoughts about it, and perhaps share those thoughts with like-minded people.

They have such great music and lyrics to go through .They show them this I mean there is reason why he deleted them . Every ARMY eventually hears this--my only hope is that they understand it's a cover from back when RM was young and had a chip on his shoulder and still felt like he had to prove he could be a "hardcore hip hop rapper." But PLEASE don't post this on Youtube. You have a huge platform and YT is teeming with baby ARMYs who haven't had the opportunity to see enough of Namjoon's work to contextualize this for what it is. So many people like to meme it or make jokes out of it and Joon has clearly expressed how he'd very much like for this to not be a part of his legacy.

This just shows how little ARMY thinks of RM, if it was any of the other members that made a song that they were ashamed of you would never hear about it again. But every single time there is a new BTS reactor and they seems to like RM as a potential Bias ARMY request this, I don't know if it's to say that the other members are better so forget about RM or what but I've been in this Fandom for about 3 years now and I can say this with conviction RM gets the least amount of love and respect regardless of what he does for the group. It's very sad, god forbids he decides to leave the group tomorrow majority of ARMY wouldn't care and it wouldn't have any effect on them popularity wise since his supporters in the fandom is so small.

Watching this as a constructive reactor as possible, we as the audience, should realize that it's just part of his time to learn the ropes if you must say.. He's younger and was still looking around for the right 'flavour' to suit the kind of material he would wanna be doing as an artiste. Please dont belittle the fandom as well. It's not the majority of armys that will not care. please don't do that. You're demeaning all of us by saying that no one cares about him. My timeline has always been full of love for the boys no matter what they do and i always block out those who are solos and mantis. If you see that on your timeline , just block. i am a JIn bias but i love every single one of them. And so does ALL the ARMYs. You cant call yourself an ARMY unless you love all. So that being said , i know this is not my place to intrude , but i hope you can curate your TL so you can have more peaceful and more loving ARMYs by your side. And that man was the start of bangtan , and whoever wants to take that away from him , will just look like a fool. We , as a collective , will always try to push the positives and throw away the negative. I get your point of namjoon having a small supporters but that is extremely not true! Not everything has to be on paper for it to be true. It's just that all the other manti's and solos are just freaking loud (about everything) so thats why you dont see the love that surrounds the boys. They are all equals. Fantastic equals. That's a cover and many cover songs for other rapper that has not very nice parts,, RM apologized many times for that song and because of that won't hear it since it's a moot point by now. wish you reacted to 4 o'clock instead, he had beautiful vocals in it and V did a great job insisting he sings part of it instead of just rapping

I wasn't originally going to watch this reaction but what you said in persona comeback trailer video got me to do it. I love how you are true to yourself, doing what you want but still being respectful about it. And like you said, you see things for yourself first and figure things out rather than taking opinions from other people. And your ending thoughts made me happy that I did watch it. i haven’t watched this post yet, and truthfully i haven’t decided if i will watch it yet. that being said, i do want to express that i don’t care that you’ve seen it, expensive girl is not supposed to be some urban legend that only people up to a certain point have seen. however, there’s something about reactors reacting to pieces that namjoon personally took the time to delete off of the platforms they were posted to and made it a point to never bring them up again to then have reactors profit off of them through youtube monetization or patreon patrons that doesn’t sit right with me and will probably never sit right with me. i do know that this is more than just a reaction to the song though, so i do appreciate that. i do also know that you would never react to something “cringy” or “gimmicky” like this for views, so i know not to misinterpret your intentions. i appreciate you giving your thoughts as you always do! i mainly wrote this comment to give some feedback that’s not super defensive or protective. you’re allowed to view these things, you are free to do whatever you want in your free time, i just feel weird when people profit from them.

Hey DT, could you please react to BTS Map of the Soul: Persona Press Conference? They talk in detail about the album and you'll see how they handle questions from the media on the spot. I think it would be refreshing to react to something like this once in a while. MV and variety show reactions are great but stuff like this will give you new perspective on them, imo :) .

Great suggestion for 'Adult Child'. It popped up in my video recommendations recently. I believe it was a pre-debut song, but so well done...puls having Jin join RM & Suga was great! You don't see the 3 of them in any recent songs. Maybe they were trying to figure out back then what roles Jin would play in the group since Suga & RM were obviously composers and rappers.

I appreciate your comment, as I do everyone who commented. But I really wish people would actually watch the video and my response to it before judging me or my motives. I explain in the video why I chose to react to it, and I how I felt about it afterwards. I purposefully did not post this video on YouTube, and it did not benefit me at all to post this on Patreon. In fact, I probably lost a few patrons after posting it. The reason why I spend so many hours watching, editing, and uploading these videos each week is because I am completely enamored and fascinated by BTS, and I love interacting with ARMY because you guys understand why. If I didn't love it, I would've stopped a long time ago.

But I did appreciate your thoughts at the end. Very thoughtful and insightful. But it's still kinda funny hahaha. And I think an important part of being secure in your own identity and self is being able to look back and laugh at yourself sometimes. :)
