June Colors (Patreon)

Hey, everyone, the colors are just barely in time for June!  Sorry about that, I know updates have been a little close to the wire, and you all deserve an explanation.

Some of you know that Ally and I live together, but may not know that in order to live cheap enough to afford living off our art, we rent a place from my mom.  And it's not a terribly big place, just a studio apartment with a bathroom and a closet, though I use the garage for arcade game storage.  About a year ago, though, my mom offered a deal where she would have a bedroom, a proper laundry room, and a second bathroom built for us.  We started a year ago, and due to delays from shoddy work and constantly stalling workers, it took us that entire year to get to the point where we had a concrete floor, drywall in the bedroom, and something close to proper walls outside.

At that point, I decided enough was enough and just youtubed the remaining procedures so that I could do it all myself.  With help from a friend for the painting, I've spent the last couple weeks prepping and painting the walls and ceiling, laying down floor, installing outlets, switches, and fixtures, cutting, painting, and installing trimming around the floors, doors, and windows, building a casing for the interior door from scratch, and installing a door and doorframe.  It, as well as helping my mom clean and repair another of her properties, delayed me getting the layouts to Ally and that's why the pages took so long to get to.  However, we now have a proper bedroom, though no laundry room or second bathroom yet, but we should have an easier time getting to the pages earlier next month!  Speaking of which, I hope you enjoy!
