How my Patreon works (Patreon)

I am writing this post to help to reiterate how payments and the rewards process works in regards to my page, and how Patreon processes payments.

At the beginning of each month (1st-5th) Patrons are charged for their previous months support. So for example on the 1st-5th of December, Patrons are charged for their November pledges and after their payment has been confirmed by Patreon, I send a link to download their rewards via Patreon messages.

If you pledge on the 1st of December, you do not get Novembers rewards, and you are only charged on the 1st of the following month.

All of this is already explained by Patreon themselves when you first pledge. 

If a new patron pledge today for example, the patreon checkout page says 'support for december' and then tells the patron that they will be charged on January 1st so after that the Patron get the right to receive December rewards.
