May Patrons processed, FTP/Batch Update and Desktop App's Beta Testing (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is sound and healthy during these difficult times, I receive email and messages from some of our users facing and going through this crisis and people who have lost their loved ones and watching Anime to cope and process their grief.

Now for some updates: 

1. Just finished processing Patrons for this month of May 2021 and send everyone their DDL Login details via email (as always, check your spambox if did not receive our email or send me a message here).  
Also finished sending the FTP login details via messages.  

Send me a message if you did not receive your details are facing any problems.  

2.  A small update on FTP/Batch downloading.
As some users might have noticed it already, recent or new episodes from current ongoing anime (weekly releases) have their recent episodes missing from the FTP server (since around 20 May 2021). It is partly intended.
The FTP server's storage is full (10TB) while our collection of anime has crossed that size, ongoings are not syncing to FTP anymore.  
Normally, in this case we upgrade the server to a higher storage server but as the advent of new platform AnimeWatch is near (its website already online animewat.ch and the Desktop App's Beta testing has already begun, link via our discord channel), it is a bit pointless and waste of money to upgrade the FTP server as AOT is bound to be replaced by AnimeWatch and FTP by the app's inbuilt batch downloader (or even better streaming in app).    
We thought to change the FTP server's access to animewatch's server first but it felt like a security risk so we opted against it. The batch download function and syncing/updating of Ongoing on AnimeWatch app will be ready by Mid of May or earlier so we are not upgrading FTP server (as the server costs have doubled or more due to procuring servers for the AnimeWatch platform, the app, and its storage)

3. AnimeWatch's Desktop/PC App
The (BETA) testing of the app is going in full force, we released the first version v0.1 on April 21, 2021 and since then are now on v0.4 with v0.5 to be released today or tomorrow.
The download link is available through Discord, we have not published the download link or more info on testing on either of the websites or on Patreon to scale the testing userbase slowly while fixing major problems in initial releases first.  

As such, request anyone interested in trying the app out and providing feedback to hop onto our discord server and get the download link from there.
