Mid-September Progress Report (Patreon)

Salutations, friends! Hope that life is good and that you're happy and stuff :)

Lemme fill you in on how game development has been going so far in September!

First off.. After seeing your responses to the poll, and having chatted with several people on discord, it became clear to me that I need to focus on cleaning up the bugs in the game, and fill out stuff that's already there, rather than just expanding the game with more and more unfinished stuff! So for the next few months I'm gonna be making an extra effort towards that.

Rather than releasing a patch now/mid-September, I'm going to put it out at the end of the month, because.. well, I just keep finding stuff to fix!! (And you've given me lots of helpful bug reports to work with!)

Here's a summary of what I've been working on:

-BUG FIXES: USING THE POTTY. After overhauling the potty system in the latest version, a lot of potty events (mostly sprites) weren't working properly. I am fixing all those visual bugs, updating some events so they're a bit more fun, and making an effort to expand the potty training system so that it works in all outfits.

-BUG FIXES: ACCIDENTS. I've been making sure that accidents are working properly!! Cuz some of them don't!! Wah!

-BUG FIXES: UNDIES CONDITIONS. This is more of an "oops I haven't made sprites for that yet" bug, but I'd like for Kiera's undies conditions to be properly reflected by her sprites. In particular, if she's leaking or loaded, which aren't super integrated into the game yet.

-BUG FIXES: HIDE AND SEEK. Lots of weird stuff was happening with this event!! I am doing my best to clean it up. :)

-UPDATING EVENTS ALREADY ON THE MAP. I have been working lots on events for stuff that's already on the map! I've had fun ideas for the Slide and the Swingset for a loooong time, and am finally implementing them properly (see pictures). I have also been working on events for the Tea Party and the Princess Castle in the girls' club room. Hopefully this will make the map feel more alive and interactive, rather than leaving you wondering what bug you'll run into when you interact with something! :P

So that's been my focus so far this month! Feel free to keep sending those bug reports in if ya want to, they've been very helpful! :)

I'll have a patch + a bit more content ready for you at the end of the month. Usually patches are just for fixing bugs, but I wanna add a bit of extra fun this time, too (ie, the slide, swing, etc.. hopefully some of those will be ready by October!)

(PS if the game is totally broken and you need a patch now, pls harass me and I can put up a patch now.. I just know I can fix a lot more in the next 2 weeks!!)
