End of April Progress Update (Patreon)

Hey everybody!! Thank you so much for your continued (or new!) support for the project! It's really cool to see that you guys are digging the game, which is a serious motivator as a dev! I am sooo looking forward to getting the game to the point where it's fully built out, with tons of stuff to do. We're getting there!

Speaking of which, we're already a month towards our next update- woohoo! Throughout April, I've been having fun building the story, adding more mini plots with the characters around the daycare, and planting more silly things for Kiera to do as she clumsily crinkles around!

There are a few things I've made some good progress with over the past couple weeks.

First is the hide-and-seek mini game (see attached image)! It's not a super complex game- basically just involves you playing as the seeker with Kiera, and trying to find four other Littles! They'll be quite obvious on your screen, but of course it will be up to you if Kiera is clever enough to find them. Confident as she is about her seeking skills, she may end up a bit fussy if she can't find anybody! (And if she REALLY has trouble with it, she may end up with a bigger buddy to help her out and give her some clues!)

Next is the swing (see attached video)! You'll get to have some fun with plopping Kiera down in a seat she claims she's too big for... though she seems to be the perfect fit! There'll soon be several events like this around the map, which may or may not trigger based on Kiera's party members and stats. For example, she'll have a higher (but not 100%) chance to resist getting put in the swing with a high independence, but a very low chance if her independence is in the pooper!

I have been working on the "debug" version, where you'll be able to start the game off with your choice of underwear, level, and lots of points to put into skills and stats. This is a bit of work, since some events assume that Kiera starts off in panties, and I want a bit of variety based on what your starting underwear pick is. I'm excited to get this finished, as it will help you skip past content that you've played through already. I'm aiming to get this released for sometime mid-May.

I have also been getting into the expansion of the potty system, so that you'll be able to properly potty train your Little one. She'll finally be able to go from diapers to pull-ups to panties... and right back down again! There's a fair bit to do to get this working properly, so I'm getting a head start on it, as it's one of the main features I'm wanting implemented for the next update. It was cool to see in the last poll that lots of you guys were interested in panties, pull-ups, and diapers alike, so I think getting this in place will be a good way to deliver some fun for everyone!
