Weekly Journal (February 9th) (Patreon)

Sorry for the late post this week! Something kind of magical happened. I've been so engrossed in writing this Outer Wilds script that for multiple days in a row, I've completely lost track of time and missed my window to write the weekly update haha. It's been awhile since a script has gone so smoothly or felt so natural. This is fun.

As a reminder, this next video will be spoiler friendly so even if you haven't played Outer Wilds, you will still be able to watch and still go get the full experience from the game. 

A couple of updates! 

-I should be finishing the script today and gathering music and clips over the weekend. Looking at a February 25th release day for this one. Lofi editing stream on the 20th or 21st. 

-The backlog continues to go. Tried a game called Observer... immediately was just not having fun somehow lol, so I decided to drop that. Booted up Dishonored 2, first game of the series I've ever played, was just immediately having a blast lmao. So I'll be on that for a bit, then will probably switch over to Prey. Also chugging along in Persona 4. Why is Chie growing on me. I like this game.

-I am stupidly behind on commentary streams. Expect a stream catch up week in the near future. I simply must do better with these. 

-THAT NINTENDO DIRECT THO. The absolute self control it is taking to not just drop everything and play Metroid Prime... My goodness does it look just so smooth and crispy and delicious. Between that, prey, outer wilds, and potentially dead space remake, I might fuck around and do a space game video this year. Anything is possible.

-The elevator video, despite a slow start, is kind of popping off analytically. That makes me feel warm and fuzzy. To know even my weirdest, off the wall, non psych related topics can stand on their own like this is such a good feeling. Thank you all so much <3
