So yesterday was a blur for me haha, somehow I lost my place in the time and space and completely forgot that it was Monday. I'm so sorry about that!

If you're new here, I always do these weekly posts on Mondays. Sometimes it's behind the scenes stuff, sometimes it's updates, sometimes it's polls, could be discussing topics or simply talking about games. But I think this might be the first Monday I've missed since I started doing these? So again, my apologies haha. I hope this blooper reel for July's episode makes up for it!

Thanks so much for making this most recent video an overall success. I'm happy with it, there were o p i n i o n s in the comments sections, but that was kind of the point! Just look at the title of the video haha. I wanted to ruffle some feathers.

Next for me is, 1 - grinding for this little tournament I have in 2 weeks, 2 - brainstorming for the Anime Psych of Play in August, and 3 - after the tournament, attacking the gaming backlog!

That said, what do you guys recommend I play first? I've heard lots of people INSIST I play Outer Wilds, so that is a strong contender. I still need to finish Xenoblade 1. I would love to play a little indie horror called Devotion. Looks pretty bitchin'.  I've gotta play God of War because I still haven't and that sequel is on the horizon. 13 Sentinels is supposed to be special, and I recently had a big reminder that I reeeeeally want to play Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. But what am I missing? What's something I'm not thinking about that you think I simply can't miss? Or do I just need to play Outer Wilds already? Haha

Let me know down below, thanks again for being here, and remember that both the good times and the bad never last. So make the absolute most out of the happy days and never get too lost in the dark ones.

I have no basis in thinking this should be your exposure to anime other than the fact I don’t think others will recommend it, but anything by Shinichirō Watanabe, I’d say maybe Space Dandy first even though Cowboy Bebop is my favorite with the jazz influence, and Samurai Champloo has some of the best chill vibes from anime. Everything he has made has inspired my ability to create and be original with my creative direction.

oh man, if you like Cowboy Bebop you need to try Neon White! Similar vibes, fast precise gameplay, good story. It's amazing man. Definitely adding Ryse to the backlog and I played a little Rime back in the day, I really liked what I saw.

Loved the bloopers. :) I need to play Hellblade at some point myself. I've had it forever, just haven't sat down to play it. I did pull myself away from XIV long enough to start playing Hades. That game is absolutely wonderful- at least, so far. I love the way the roguelike elements are woven into the story and the permanent upgrades make it so none of your deaths ever feel too devastating, or that you've lost a great run. I used to love Binding of Isaac, but either I've gotten worse in the last few years or Repentance is just way too punishing. I uninstalled Isaac, but Hades is filling in that itch now. :)
