Your pretty close on the description of the video. The action your seeing is from the 1971 movie Johnny Got His Gun. It's about a man that goes off to war and during the war a bomb explodes next to him. When he wakes up in the hospital he finds that he has no arms, no legs, no vision, can't hear, and can't speak. The military doctors keep him alive and what your hearing is him talking to his dead dad and trying to talk to the doctors begging them to kill him, put him out of his misery. But then he remembers his dad talking about communicating through SOS. So he starts banging his head giving out the SOS message meaning Help. He then starts communicating to them through this asking them to kill him, but they won't do it until one nurse decides to pull the plug on him so he won't be in pain anymore.
