Another great reaction! It's been a few years since I watched it so I am loving experiencing them all now that I've forgotten a fair bit. ๐Ÿคฃ I'm glad you got to the egg hatching moment! Zym is the nickname they're going with for the baby dragon, it took me watching with subtitles to get that when I was watching it. From how I understood it, With Ava the wolf pup the elf's point was that humans underestimate anything they don't understand so Ava would be left to die because of only having three legs. Really she needed food and for the stump to heal then to learn to walk with three legs (I strongly recommend watching videos of happy three legged puppies running around, super adorable). So the illusionist made it seem like Ava had the leg so humans wouldn't assume she wasn't worth feeding like Ellis's father states in the previous episode. Like the only thing holding her back from being valued was a flaw in perception. I really think I only noticed that because I binged it and the dad was talking about mercy killing her, but Ellis insisted she would be fine. (This show is noted for having a more positive representation of disabilities, with a few semi controversial moments. Overall much more inclusive of disability rep than the average show.) I hope you enjoy season 2. ๐Ÿ˜ I remember feeling like season 1 and 2 were more like one season since so many plot points didn't feel resolved yet, Netflix knows how to get us!
