This is a genuinely good sequel for those that wanted more of the characters but didn't want to follow along with the disney channel show to understand what was going on. As a stand-alone, it fits nicely right between the first movie and "Stitch! The Movie", the show's feature-film pilot. After "Stitch!", the series ran for 2 years and 65 episodes. The series would finally end on June 23, 2006, with the feature film "Leroy and Stitch". I would run home after school to catch an episode every weekday, it was one of my favorites growing up. I loved the scifi creatures, I loved how the strong cast of characters both human and alien, and even the Hawaiian backdrops came alive with the watercolor. It's really funny how in this small Hawaiian village, extraterrestrial creatures are a huge part of daily life - and no one bats an eye. Jumba and Pleakly try to keep up appearances, but I don't think anyone actually cares lmao
