My favorite line from my favorite scene in the movie: "You best start believin' in ghost stories, Ms. Turner. You're in one!" It has such a horror aspect to it and I love horror films. Very glad that you're watching this trilogy. It is definitely one of my favorites adventure series of all time. And I even think the fourth one is good, I'm not sure if there's a fifth one if there is I haven't seen it yet. But the fourth one I think it's still decent to watch. But the original trilogy is a very good story and I'm glad you're watching it.

Elizabeth was not cursed removing the medallion from the chest because it had been removed by Bill "Bootstrap" Turner and never returned with his blood. Therefore, it wasn't a part of the treasure when she took it. If she had taken *any* other coin, she would have been cursed, but she took back the piece that hadn't yet been returned, if that makes sense. The curse isn't passed on if you give the coin to another person. It only curses the one who originally took it from the chest, and giving it away doesn't lift the curse. Only the return of the coin with a blood sacrifice does that, and since the entire crew (and monkey) took the gold, they are all cursed *until* the last piece is returned with Turner blood. Jack took a gold coin of his own, so he was cursed. He had to put his blood on his coin and have it returned so that he wouldn't stay cursed. He put his blood on it and tossed it to Will, who put his own blood on the coin on the chain (the coin his father had taken 10 years ago) and tossed them both in the chest together. It broke Jack's curse when Jack's coin went in, and it broke the curse on ALL the pirates when the last coin they had stolen as a crew was returned.
