Frollo and Mother Gothel (from Tangled) would get along swimmingly! Jokes aside, the music in this movie is some of my favorite. I love the grandness of it with the church bells and the choir. Frollo is pure evil with his gaslighting, manipulations, and inability to take responsibility for his own behavior. "He saw corruption everywhere, except within" sums it ups perfectly. Loved your reaction to one of my favorites! Looking forward to more as it comes!

Amanda Logsdon

Man you got to stop doing all my favorites in a row i have to stay up and watch them right away, lol. Great reaction as always.

Christian Horn

I know all the classic Disney movies are great, but for what it's worth this one has always been my favorite. I love the characters and it's easily a top 3 Disney soundtrack (and it isn't #2 or #3). Always good to see other people enjoy it like I do

Clare

I recommend Hercules if you haven't watched that :)

Belzeref

one of my favourite Disney movies

Ginny

This has been my favourite Disney musical forever. I really recommend Hercules and (not disney but still amazing) Anastasia! And for non-musical disney films with an incredible score I cannot recommend Dinosaur (2000) enough. It's so underrated and beautiful.

Rawan

I highly recommend you to watch Anastasia !! and after you watch it you've got to check the history of Romanov family.

Rawan

Also (The Emperor's New Groove) one of my favorites !

BeastialMoon

This is arguably one of Disney's darkest movies. The story of a monster so horny he tried to burn down Paris. When it comes to these classic 2D movies, while they have sequels, every one of them was Direct to VHS. They don't have the same animation caliber as a theatrical production. Which is not bad in itself, but just don't expect them to wow you out of the water like these do.

RavenLord

You said (on The Lion King) that you were seeking more suggestions for animated films. So here goes! A Bug's Life; The Emperor's New Groove; The Ant Bully; Shrek; The Secret Life of Pets; Flushed Away; Spirited Away; Kiki's Delivery Service; My Neighbor Totoro; The Land Before Time; Ice Age

Josephine Budolfsen

I've seen others comment it on other videos too, but if you're looking for something Christmas themed, Klaus is an amazing movie. Fun, sweet, very touching and has beautiful animation. I watched it for the first time 2 years ago, and it became an instant favorite of mine. Other recs: Herkules, Junglebook, Anastasia, or Josef - king of dreams (similar to Prince of Egypt)

Andrew Stapleton

I wonder how many people know about the Beauty and the Beast easter egg in this movie. At 16:34 you can see Belle walking while reading a book by the well in the town center that it zooms in on near the bottom left corner. It makes sense too because Beauty and the Beast takes place in France.

Genny

I just love the animation and soundtrack of this film. Its one of my absolute favorite Disney movies. You were correct it is based off a book by Victor Hugo. Which are the names of two of the gargoyles. Like most Disney movies the original source is much darker. It was also to give more attention to The Notre Dame Church. I do appreciate that Disney kept a dark tone in the movie. I would definitely recommend Anastasia. Like Pocahontas it is based on an actual person. Not Disney but such a great film. It has a great story, animation, cast, and soundtrack. Its one of my favorite non-disney movies. Thank you for another great reaction!

Allie Willey

Just finished watching and I loved your reaction to this one. I really agree with you on all the points you made, and it made me so happy to finally see him accepted:) Once again I'm recommending ratatouille cause it's my favorite! Can't wait for the next video.

Allie Willey

I agree with dinosaur! I haven't watched it in years, and I loved that one growing up!

Keyanah

JV, I really want to see you react to the Emperor's New Groove. You'll have a lot of fun with it!

ReonFur

Please watch Emperor's new groove, ratatouille, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs and brother bear!! You will love them all!!!!

Liv Violetta

I'd love for you to watch 101 Dalmatians and spirit ( not disney ) and the rescuers

Daniel Y Castro

Since you mentioned Brother bear, my mind jumped to Spirit which I think would also be a good one ๐ŸŽ

Ruth

Agreed on Dinosaur (2000) so much. I remember a year where it was my choice for weekly library movie to check out. The empathy in the story is what always stood out to me. โค
