This is one of my favorites! Love teenaged Giles and Joyce.

This was so fun. Comedy gold. This is the first episode of a new writer on the show, the great Jane Espenson. She is particularly great with dialogue and the famous “Buffy speak”. I like the role reversal within the episode and its underlying premise. Buffy at first is resentful of parental authority, by the end of the episode she craves it. All the teenager version of the adult were great, especially Giles and Snyder. Did you notice how Giles accent was less polished when he reverted to his younger self?
