February 2024 Patron Update & Discord Server Link (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here's the monthly update for all of you! I know not all of you watch it; so just briefly say a few things here. First, again, just thank you all for your continued support. To be quite frank; the past month was a rough one emotionally - mainly just dealing with Newt passing and it leading to a bit of existential crisis on my part. Even before he died, I knew I was reaching a place of wanting to evolve my art and what I had to say about the world. Since making IDENTITEAZE, I've begun to feel the desire to follow my heart to make more and more art from a place of vulnerability and hope, but it takes time to figure out what that means for how I create. And I wanted to take time to do that, but when Newt died - losing this person who was just so core to my life, to who I was, and had been a companion for so much of my journey so far in life, love, and art... it really just caused me to really not know who I was as a creator and person for a bit. This past month has been trying to figure that out... and I don't think I'm all there yet, but I'm finally at a place where I'm hopeful and excited about creating new work to figure out who I am again; and hopefully make something meaningful in the process. 

That said, it's all thanks to all of you. I hate that it sounds trite, but... I can't express how much it means to me to have your support and my back during all this. I'm excited to keep making things for you and I'm excited to be able to evolve as a person and creator; and I'm honored knowing there are people who enable me to do that. So just... thank you all, you beautiful people. I know it's harder and harder to do that these days, given the state of the world at the moment. So just know - you all continue to mean a lot to me and change my life. 

I also hope later this month to do so more stuff for y'all. Let me know in the comments if there's any Patreon-exclusive stuff you'd want to see. I've been thinking of maybe doing a trans/queer-focused movie club to just have a place to talk about cool trans art that doesn't get at one of attention. Or maybe a book club or monthly livestream. Let me know what you think; I'd be curious what you all would want <3
