oh man i 100% agree about feeling super icky about the conspiracy theory idiot being right about stuff. It also feels like the laziest possible form of subversting expectations. not my favorite episode.

Ditto. Felt the same way with them making Jimmy a conspiracy theorist in the new Superman animated series. And worse... validating his belief in them by having them turn out to be real.
