Hey all! I did a video about transgender themes in video games on Gamespot to finish off Pride Month. While the video is meant to be an overview of a lot of complex topics, I'm honestly glad Gamespot let me make this video, and focus it so heavily and in-depth on trans issues. Honestly, a lot of what I discuss in this video is stuff I plan to do even deeper dives at some point here on my own channel, especially the stuff I discuss about character creators. That being said, as Gamespot is where the "GamersTM" often congregate, the video's been hit by a huge amount of anti-trans hate in the comment section, so be careful not to go down there (or if you do, just leave a nice comment and don't read any haha). I hope you all enjoy the video and, despite the hate out there, know you are loved and that there are so many people out there who love and support you <3 <3 We can still be nerdy and be our full selves; screw the haters. On another positive note; I'm having the first full cast script reading for my film Identiteaze today! LGBTQ+ Inclusive Games You Should Check Out

Here are a few transgender-inclusive games that you can check out today. While video games haven't always been great at representing transgender identities, the gaming industry has made strides in this area over the past few years. Yet, this sadly stands at odds with the real world around us as transphobia, anti-trans legislation and violence, and vocal anti-trans proponents increase. As such, there are often still stigmas, misinformation, disinformation, and common tropes that transgender representation can sometimes fall into. So we want to highlight a few games that not only feature transgender characters, creators, or themes, but also discuss what makes them exemplars of how to integrate trans characters that don't tokenize or use stereotypes.
