If the Lennier/Delenn thing is the price for having Ivanova say she loved Talia, it's a price I'm willing to pay.

Vera’s praises and critiques both continue to enrich my re-viewing experience. I’m repeating myself, but I love listening to you two.

like both of you, I also hate, truly hate Lennier being in love with Delenn. Interestingly enough though, JMS initially did not conceive of the character as being in love with her that was something that the actor wanted to bring into play and eventually he relented.

I really hate the Lennier being in love with Delenn subplot, and I hated it even more when I found out that it only happened because Bill Mumy asked. I went back and found JMS's tweet about it, in response to a fan question about whether anyone in the cast had ever asked him to change how their character was developing. His response? Only once, when Bill asked if Lennier could be in love with Delenn. I said yes, because it made sense, but to be careful what he asked for. Later when Lennier made his mistake Bill thought I was taking a shot at him but that was never the case. The Lancelot story never ends well.
