Monday night, me n Jessie watching Enterprise. Ya know, I never thought how unique this ep is. I really like one set shows/movies like Hitchcock's "Lifeboat", there are others; and as i say "I can watch a movie about 5 people sitting, talking in a living-room for 90 minutes; as long as it's well made." Mapping an asteroid field would be important when others come back to the spot, safety and study of what/who passed by over the next years. My synch was off by less than one second this time, well done Me. 😃 So, where's Newt? Ya sang, whassup buddy? (psst psst, hey Newt, psst, psst) Oh, yes, this is the epitome of the pioneer spirit that IS Trek, sometimes people die or face death on the edges of explored space. What's great about this ep is that both men are right in their assessment of the situation; and they are both wrong in the way they react to the others assessment, it's natural tensions leading to us learning about these two but mostly Reed. Reed gets to say all the things he held back, his protective shell cracks. His vulnerability should have been respected by Trip, but he was scared too. [i'll not discuss the cringe, cuz it stinks] I love the puncture scene as well, slow leak - not all evacuated and overly dramatic. I just would have preferred the fix to be more like the Expanse, duct tape and a book for example. (im cracking a pint in honor of future bourbon,🍺 ) Yes, micro-black holes are theoretically possible, they are not all massive, but they are all massively dense. That is a sweet moment with Reed unburdening his feelings about being about finally belonging to a group 💖 And yeah, Archer should have left a beacon saying "we had an oopsie, please wait here for us" what a jerk, lol. And I love how the idea of blowing up the impulse drive is brought up when the boys are chatting up the aliens on Risa, i love call-backs. Yes great episode, thank-you Jessie. LLAP

I think Travis got all nostalgic about "nutri-pak" rations in "Fortunate Son." I had always imagined that they tasted like Kellogg Nutri Grain Bars.

I cringed a little when he mentioned "Charles Tucker the Fourth" - he doesn't know what's coming. :(
