Jessie, and everyone here, I am so enraptured with "Forget Me Not". You folks wouldn't be here if you didn't share Jessie's live and understanding of Trek's spiritual nature, and this episode was rich with warmth and meaning. I love it. It's a treasure.

Fifty years ago, I loved Star Trek, but even then I could feel it's limitations.

This is Trek unlimited...unfettered everything that kept it from being what it could be but for the constrictions of technology, talent, vision, and imagination. I am glad I have lived to see what I have loved realized so fully. It's a Trek singularity that surpasses the last two, when Wrath of Khan, DS9, and Star Trek (2009) blew away our preconceptions. It's so beautiful.

Sadly I fear that I have to stop watching the show. The way Georgiou is framed is too big a trigger for me. It feels too much like watching a group of friends humoring and giving privileges to an abuser, harasser or aggressor. I lived through a situation where someone who harassed me and aggressed a close friend was tolerated and humored by a group of friends and this is just too upsetting for me. Georgiou did far more than just abuse and harass other people, she is a mass murderer and her politics have caused immense sufferings, I hate how she is framed as an edgy anti-hero. The crew treat her as a whimsical edgy character and I just want to stop watching.

I mean she probably shouldn’t be invited to dinner. I get that Starfleet isn’t really about prison. But what the hell Saru, she’s just allowed to replicate admiral’s uniforms and operate transporters?
