I would predict that an optimistic outlook by the series will be a given. Basing that on the fact that Pike's own optimistic and moral presence on Discovery was what caused fans to glom onto his character.

The one thing I absolutely don't want in a Pike series is.... lens flares. Weird panning camera motions and blinding lens flares need to stay within JJ's universe - please.
