I always hated the mad Emperor Cartagia plot but seeming to do it again with Regent Virini (yes it’s revealed ultimately he’s not mad but London & others don’t know this initially) struck me as lazy. Only thing I really liked was the dark turn for Lyra, it was interesting.

Vera’s point about importance blindly cheating is completely applicable here to the Centauri argument for crushing their military utterly. The Centauri have twice now in the timeline of the show attacked and invaded Narn, Drazi. & other species‘ colony worlds and homeworlds. This needs to be acknowledged in a show about interstellar politics.
