Before I watched it, I was hoping this would do well because I wish Jessie all the best. Now I really hope this does well because I am very curious to see where the story is going. I don't want to get into too many details because of spoilers (and I think people should see this as fresh as they can), but there is some some interesting worldbuilding.

Did I come back to this post to scream about the film because I finally got to see it? Yes. Yes I did. I'm going to have to watch it again in a few days, because nuance. I hope this does amazing! I, personally, loved it.

Finally got to watch this. At 34:34 the re-advent of Aerin, I completely, totally saw them as wearing a Star Trek TOS science officer uniform and badge. Just sayin'.
