Sorry I haven't posted in a while! There hasn't been a ton going on so I saved up a lot of fun information. Let's get started!

Obviously, I finished up the building I was working on a long time ago.

Installing the windows was such a moment. I was so happy with how they turned out! One thing I didn't realize was that the weight of the left building might drag down the whole assembly. I had to install some weights to make sure everything stayed normal, but even then, the building sags a bit. Lesson learned!

In anticipation of painting my first 40K army that I own, I did around ~15 different yellow tests to see what worked for what I wanted.

Honestly, even after all those tests, there's something about the yellow that I'm not super happy with. I might do a few more experimentations while painting the army itself that aren't too crazy. Maybe trying out a different yellow ink that's warmer; I'm not sure.

Speaking of yellow paint schemes, it's taken me a little over a week's worth of work to assemble all the models in my dark elf army. Woosh! Didn't anticipate that taking so long. I'm itchin' to get to some painting! I'm trying to make a point of taking my time and just relaxing and enjoying the process. I hope that makes the video feel more light hearted and fun, ya know, how this hobby is supposed to be!

From Tuesday-Friday I have Jon in my basement working on his digital course for the Kickstarter, painting up The Warrior. Here's a sneaky WIP that I stole while Jon was peeing.

Very strong night elf warcraft vibes! I'm looking forward to see the end result! Lastly, some paint brush box updates!

Here is a sample of the foam insert to the brush box, and also a raw metal sample of the impression that the die will make on each brush box lid. They'll get a coating of matte black afterwards, but it's looking good! Everything is shaping up nicely for the KS, now I just need to pull it all together and put a pretty bow on it. That's all for now, but most importantly, don't forget to....

PAINT MORE MINIS! \m/

Great update, Scott. I’m pumped to see this Drukhari army come together. I’m also really excited for the Kickstarter! It’s looking like it’ll be live at a time where I’m in a bit of a hobby lull, so I’m pumped to get into it.

I’m looking forward to seeing Ninjon’s tutorial. I cannot wait for this to go live. It’s a win win for me.
