With my extra time I experimented with this video. I tried writing the script before painting the mini to see how it would impact the flow of the whole thing. I think it had some positive impact but it feels like it ran off the rails a little toward the end. Let me know what you think!

I don't think this went off the rails at all! also Whew! that production value is great! the color wheels and animations... even the little "ad read timer" bar was super neat.

You stayed on the rails and that model looks great. The new graphics are great and I appreciate the ad timer, very “Donut-esque”. I especially liked the slo-mo paint shaking sequence.

Thank you for the compliments! I think the reason it feels a little chaotic to me is that I just talk so fast. I need to really think about the speed/enunciation with which I speak or else I default to rap god

Loved the color wheel! I thought the one that showed the proportional distribution of color was helpful. I might start making those for myself before starting on new minis. Really enjoyed the video, and I didn't even skip the ad cause I was hooked on the suspense of waiting to see how those weathered cracks would turn out. No surprised they turned out great. The pacing in the beginning of the video felt different to me. I don't know if that was the power of suggestion after reading your comment, but it did feel like it was moving faster than your videos usually move. Either way, it was still a great video, and thank you for making them! Keep them color wheels spinnin'!

Love the vid! I have learned so much from you since I've discovered the world of 40k and mini painting. I find myself re-watching many of your vids and applying the knowledge to my own minis, (after procrastination and anxiety of course). Very excited to see future vids!

It was an interesting watch, good video. It did not feel to me particularly different than other videos you made though. Not that I was disappointed mind you, but I suppose I was expecting a more noticeable change. I do not mind the ad, and I do appreciate both the timer and you painting at the same, so I do not need to skip. Although VPN service ad did not seem particularly interesting to me. Nice effects, but there was a lot going on in very short time span, and then nothing for the rest of the video. The webpage scrolling sounds made me laugh out loud - little joys in life. It seemed to me you were on point the whole video and it was not too quick for me at least. Thanks!

Great video. Cool animations and good pacing. The sisters face issue is mostly on the sculpt imo. These faces are what scares me off from getting into this army, I am shitty at painting faces in general but these... Man I would have go for a fully helmeted army but then I lose the character of it. Oh well I guess I can just paint more ultramarines ;)
