Question about the Patreon video (Patreon)

 OK, so we're going to do a beginner airbrush video and I started to write the script for it and I naturally started to describe the anatomy of most airbrushes and also what each important part does but then I realized maybe not everyone wants to care about this. Let me know if this is something you want in the video.

Anyone getting into airbrushing should care about this, because it will help with knowing how to care for the brush, or for helping with troubleshooting if something goes wrong with it. I think it's very useful information to include.

As a beginners video, the anatomy of an airbrush would be really useful.

I voted no. Honestly, I'm as green as they come and I'd probably skip a good portion of that part. Similar to the brushes video. The info was great but not for me, maybe have a timestamp or something.?

I've had an airbrush for years and a barely know how the dam thing works left alone why. Put it in!

I think understanding how it works helps in both general usage and fixing problems. Plus they're neat.

Having a background as a teacher I can say that in my own experience, teaching about a new subject is easier if students understand the tools in which they are using. You cant use a microscope properly if you dont know the parts and how they function as a whole.

If including a part about the anatomy of the airbrush, would a quick aside to the different types and pros, cons of compressors be included as these can be equally important when starting out. Good quality compressor is worth just as much as the brush.

Definitely include it. When I got my $50 amazon airbrush it came with no instructions and it was really hard to know what all the bits did and which knobs and dials I should be turning.

yes Include it. As a brush-only painter I want to get an airbrush. A super detailed video on how to use one would push me over the edge to purchasing this tool and not being afraid to use it.

If it's an intro video, it's well worth covering the basics and differences between the technologies. E.g. 'internal' mix vs external, single vs dual action, gravity fed vs tanked - especially if your target audience may not have one yet. The only call out is that you may want to do that as a separate video, as there's likely enough content for it to stand on it's own.

I think it is an important part of a beginner video about airbrushing. Maybe include a link that can skip that part if someone is not interested in watching it.

I've seen a few and understand the inner workings but have voted yes, as a job worth doing..... love your videos and the level of detail you decide is relevant is great

I voted yes even though I've seen plenty of airbrush tear down videos and articles and torn mine apart more times than I could count. Someone familiar with the airbrush might not get much out of it but you have a way of explaining things that's just better than other educators. Airbrush anatomy is something you need to include in a beginner video. Include a link so that people who know how an airbrush works can skip it.

I don't own an airbrush, but if I'm ever going to start, I'd like to know how it works so that I can eventually make a more educated decision.

Anyone who buys an airbrush will quickly find out that they tend to clog... and taking them apart to clean is an inevitability, so showing its anatomy in the context of cleaning it is most helpful
