What up, mini family?!
I hope you're all doing well. I've been a busy bee in my basement. I recently had Jon over for another podcast recording session and we knocked out 2 more episodes and some other extraneous video content one needs for a youtube channel.
I've also have been working on another basing video! Similar to the last one, this one will feature 4 new bases in different environments. Some will be easier to accomplish than others.
I got a rainy graveyard, the deck of a ship (with a visitor), something I'm calling "blood isles", and finally a frosty scifi outpost.
Lastly, what about that dang vampire miniature? Well, I'm happy to say that after going through some QA, we're onto production. Creature caster is pumping out a lot of copies for me and in the meantime, I'm working on packaging with several talented people.
I have a friend I met at Adepticon helping me source the right packaging for the job. We won't be putting any branding on the box itself, but we will be putting some slick branding on the belly wrap of the box.
A patron of mine, Todd Thyberg, is a talented letterpress printer and he's helping with the wrap for the box. He's come up with this fun, gothic inspired idea for the box. We're just wrangling up some final details like what to put on the other sides of the wrap like "don't swallow plastic toys you idiot you'll die" and stuff like that. Initial test prints of the bust of the figure are looking pretty spicy.
That's all for now. PAINT MORE MINIS!
