Weekly Blog Post 1/15/23 Release Date and Side Stories (Patreon)

Hello everyone and welcome back to the FINAL Blog Post before the next King's Fall update drops!

We're finally about to release the long awaited update and I can't wait to get it into your hands after all the work that was poured into it.

Firstly. The release date is as follows:

Testers: 1/22/23

Patrons: 1/27/23

Public: 2/3/23

These are the dates for King's Fall 0.2.5.13 so the update won't be long out at all.

This week I had planned to go into Camila's Corruption Route but there is one piece of content I've worked on for the last 2 weeks and I feel it'll be seen by more people. For now, Camila's Corruption Route will be entirely a secret until the update releases. A proper surprise!

Let's jump into today's news, Side Stories and Ifia the Sobbing Queen

Back in 2019 we released the first Domain Update and with it, we introduced a characted simply named The Sobbing Queen. She has simply been sobbing away for the last 4 years but after a long awaited arrival, she's finally here and will have a large storyline filled with lore.

Now, many players have asked me to give out further lore on King's Fall and what is going on since the days of The Demon War. Ifia... Will be half character focused and half Lore focus. The main mission when meeting Ifia is to recover all of her memories and discover who she is and who she was. You do this by bringing her the long awaited and much asked about, Domain Memories

But getting to this point, requires some brilliant problem solving. This Queen has a long history in her time and the Hero begins to assist her in a way he believed was fabricated.

The Queen is a facinating character because as the Hero and the player discover her "castle" her "subjects" and her "memories" you are brought to the main question. Who was her King? But more importantly, what does a Queen do when she is finally brought whole? Her storyline is RICH in lore from The Demon King War, the mindset people had then, and further scratching at the relationship she beings to grow with the Hero.

Expect plenty to see and do alongside Camila and Maya! Ifia was a very fun character to write for so I hope you all enjoy her content! The release is in 2 weeks so not long until you get yet another deep dive of lore and yet another character to fall in love with.
