Weekly Blog Post 11/20/22 Barrage of QOL (Patreon)

Hey there everyone and welcome back to the final Blog Post before the very next update of King's Drops this Friday, the 25th!

Last week we spoke about Irena, The Emerald Fist aka The 2nd Sugar Baby. This week I'm here to talk about all the new QOL we've also added thanks to the new influx of Community and Patrons. We hear you all and thanks to them, the game will be MUCH more awesome!

The first thing I'll bring up is an update to The Beastiary. Now you can see where each monster spawns AND by clicking on the map, you will be teleported directly to that locaction! This basically shortcuts a lot of lost wandering in the game for Missions. Hopefully this is a welcome idea!

The other QOL we've added is a MAJOR one. Going forward you will now be able to Mark Items your Want and Items you want to Ignore. That's right, if you want nothing but Apples to drop from Snails, you can ignore a few of the drops you ARE getting and set it so the game focuses on just your want.

Blue are items that are Marked and want to drop
Red are items that you will ignore from the drop table.

Hopefully this one feature adds much more playability and less time grinding!

The 2nd part of that is an update to The Library. You will be able to Mark anything you wish directly through here as well. This is to help keep an eye on your Wishlist while also making sure your Library and Beastiary are connected.

The next section is all for Patrons and stuff they've been asking us about. This next update is going to update Frederick's Store so all your hard earned Coins are going to be spent well!

Stuff like being able to Clone your character to being able to Die and revive without any exp loss. There are also a New Potion which reveals all Hidden Spots on a map. Perfect for finding Tinkerer Boxes.

We also added Scrolls which protect against Darkness Scrolls which can destroy an item. Basically, Patrons and those that wish to grind out Coins the old fashioned way are about to have more options for Gameplay, Looting, or just having more control over your build.

All in all, Irena and the QOL stuff (And more surprises) are about to bring 1-2 more hours of content for you all! This game is nothing without our Patrons and Community who give us ideas on how to grow. We always encourage feedback and as you can tell from the above, we take it to heart.

This will be the last Blog Post of November since the update drops on Friday and Thanksgiving is right around the corner.
