Weekly Blog Update 2/7/2021 Short Term and Long Term Plans (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Been awhile since we've done a Weekly Blog Update so let's just jump into it!

With the release of Ellinia Part 2 we got the game where we needed it to be in many ways. Many earlier bugs were finally addressed, many quests were touched up writing wise, and many systems were updates to function better. BUT what we forgot to update was balancing. 

Many players for the longest time have said the Henesys Chapter has a very large difficulty spike. It's one of the things that we thought players could handle but it didn't work out that way. So after getting additional Feedback we have a way of helping players naturally. 

Coming in just the next week or two is The Mission Update. This update is going to add dozens of Mission Based Quests that will help you with getting additional Items, EXP, and various other things. The main thing is it will allow you to get that additional EXP to ready yourself for the many Henesys and Ellinia challenges. 

We're still working out the kinks but the update will be released to everyone fairly soon. That's the Short Term Plan. 

The Long Term Plan is what you all are curious about. Ellinia Part 3 is going to be a MASSIVE undertaking by us at BGE. As you all noticed by playing through Ellinia Parts 1 and 2 is there are dozens and dozens of NPC's you've all yet to speak with. Ellinia Part 3 is going to add content to MOST of the NPC's of Ellinia, Elluel, and The Academy. We're talking about adding Questlines, Stories, and more to 20+ NPC's ON TOP of adding an Epilogue to the Ellinia Chapter. 

I have yet to get started in writing Ellinia Chapter 3 BUT I do have a plan set up for the Epilogue. Beware Spoilers for the end of Ellinia Part 2:

With The Scientist dead, Domain Alpha liberated, and a promise between The Spirit of Ellinia and the Hero leading him to believe things will soon get better. But they didn't.
Magnus of the Libratas has found the Hero and The Guest and has sworn he will hunt him down and kill him. Not trying to let his possible final days go to waste, he takes his friends The Ardyn up to meet his mother. 

The Epilogue will focus on his growing fear of dying but will also focus on his relationships including Lily. The Epilogue will unlock Lily's Lover's and ???? Routes but will also lead to our next Story Update. Perion. 

As the events of the Epilogue unfold, the Hero will have to leave everything behind and run to the only person who can keep him safe. The Spirit of Ellinia. It is here he will make a choice that will unfold in Perion as he finally becomes The Warrior The King wanted him to be. 

The Epilogue will tie everything together on top of giving the player a proper chance to meet and enjoy the dozens of NPC's that live in Ellinia, Elluel, and The Academy. Once everything is done the Hero and the Player will make one final choice  before he heads off to Perion. The point of no return for the Hero and The Ardyn...

All this and more coming to Ellinia Part 3 in late March or early April 2021!

So there's a lot coming! To sum up this Blog Post here are the bullet points and the TLDR

1. Smaller Mission Update coming in the next 1-2 Weeks that will help players get added EXP, Items, etc. 

2. Ellinia Part 3 is going to add hundreds of quests to a majority of the NPC's of Ellinia, Elluel, and The Academy. This will included dozens of Lovers, Corruption, and ???? Routes.

3. The Ellinia Epilogue will continue the Storyline that leads into Perion and will include a Lovers and ???? Route for Lily.

4. Ellinia Part 3 will release sometime in late March or Early April

This will wrap up the Blog Post. Next week will not have a Blog Post as we finish up the Mission Update but if everything pans out well, the Blog Update will return Feb 21st.
