Weekly Blog Post 12/20/20 Last Blog Post of 2020, Progress Report, and The Cheat NPC (Patreon)

Hello everyone and welcome back to another Weekly Blog Post!

After missing last week we have poured in countless hours into the next update of King's Fall and as I finish up Act 2 we are nearing the release date! Before I give you all a progress report let let first attend to this post being the last Blog Post for 2020. 

With this crazy year coming to an end we are looking forward to what 2021 brings for King's Fall and BGE as well. Baka and I are eternally grateful at how many new people have joined us in support of King's Fall and we have worked tirelessly for you all. With it being only 5 days until Christmas, that means it's time we took a small break to relax and enjoy the last remaining days of 2020. While work on King's Fall's next update won't entirely stop, it will slow down as family, friends, etc bog us down. 

The Weekly Blog Update will return January 3rd,2021. So about 2 weeks from now BUT we still have art for you guys! In the next 3 weeks you'll see the last remaining Events we're adding to Ellinia Part 2 so keep an eye out every Wednesday and Sunday for the art posts!

Now with that out of the way it's time for a progress report! Since last week I have completed Act 1 and made a very heavy dent in writing out Act 2 of Ellinia Part 2. For those out of the loop, Ellinia Part 2 is made out of 3 Main Acts and the update is DENSE with set piece moments, heartfelt moments, and of course, sexy moments. Here is a small look at one of the moments in Act 2

As of today I am on the last stages of Act 2 so in reality I think this update is about...

65% Finished. What I have left is the following:

-Start and Finish Act 3

-Finish the Epilogue which will point you towards the next town and major update.

-Add Level requirements and special effects to every single new quest

-Add every new quest to the Quest Tracker

-And finally... TEST!

All in all I think this update will be ready by Late January but once we're in 2021 I'll know for sure. So far this update has grown tremendously and because of that we're giving players a new way to Cheat and Skip. 

Coming in Ellinia Part 2 will be a new NPC in Maple Island that will be your primary source of getting some cheats, claiming a few rewards, and most importantly. Skipping around the story for those that have already finished Story Arcs like Henesys and Lith Harbor.

This NPC is still a WIP but how it will work is talking with this NPC will present a few options like giving access to smaller Cheats, the introduction of a Coin Shop (More on this later!), and access to every single Storyline in the game. The Skip Feature will allows older players who may have lost their saves to jump directly into the beginning story lines for each major town. 

You'll be presented by say an option that says: Henesys Storyline. By clicking on it you'll be teleported to Henesys and given basic rewards you would've gotten on top of having access to every single Switch you needed to progress to the next Major Quest. Basically you'll now be able to take shortcuts to better get closer to newer Story Content. Although as a warning, many Side Quests CANNOT BE SKIPPED/CHEATED! The reason for this is it would cause issues. That's not to say all the Side Quests won't be skipped as say if you wanted to start Ellinia Part 2 right away, you will skip over Maya's and Camila's Storylines. 

Every single Cheat/Skip will give you a warning and a run through of things you'll be skipping over so you'll be more than informed on everything before you make a choice. Hopefully by 2021 we'll have the NPC in place so we can attach screenshots for it. 

Regardless this will help older players because the game is only going to grow from here. Having to start over content you've already seen multiple times will now be a thing of the past! This feature was requested by many players and we've gone above and beyond in helping you all have access so we hope you enjoy it!

This will wrap up the LAST BLOG POST OF 2020! It's been a wild ride and 2021 will be the next year for us to grow and improve King's Fall. As always we want to thank our Patrons!
