Weekly Blog Update 9/8/2020 Boss Battles (Patreon)

Hello all! Welcome back to another Blog Update! 

I'm still recovering from a cold but the work continues. Today I want to talk about another big system we're adding to the game with the Ellinia update. Boss Battles!

Now on the adventure so far, you've all fought against numerous Mid-Bosses/Boss Monsters. These were all to prep you for what comes next. The actual Boss itself. Now in the Ellinia update we'll be adding 2 Bosses you will face off against. Both I'm sure you already know based on how the story is heading after the Henesys Part Update. 

Now Boss Battles will be testing you on your build, skills, and overall preparedness. But first here's a non spoiler look at Boss Battle Health Bars.

To hide any spoilers we attached the new Health Bar tot he first Mid-Boss you all faced, Mano. Unlike many games where you never know if you're close or far from defeating a Boss, in King's Fall you will always be able to see their health bar. As you can see it covers the entire screen at the top. Boss Battles have many intricate systems in place but they will be very exhilarating as you both battle each other. 

The two Bosses you face in Ellinia will have warnings attached to make sure you're ready for them. There will always be one so you never get caught off guard by surprise battles. We want the game to be fun so we will always do our best to make sure you're warned and prepared for what comes next. Now while I don't want to show Spoilers, I will show this,

The Boss Arena for one of the Boss Battles. Many hints can he gathered from this image so be sure to look closely as not only can you tell what personality the Boss has but also if you look at previous Blog Updates, you can probably tell where this battle will connect from. Enjoy!

This will wrap up this Blog Post. Next week I will talk about a new System I've been hinting at since the first Henesys update. Ardyn Recruitment. It's going to take me awhile to set up but the results will be fascinating and will open the game up like no tomorrow.
