Weekly Blog Update 1/20/20 Free Mode, Asuna Art, and Release date plans (Patreon)

Hello hello!

Welcome back to another extraordinary week of news! This week is pretty exciting for us at BGE but let me pull back a bit. 

In the last week I have been adding to the Henesys  update for Free Mode. We are most done with adding all the quests for getting the Archer aka Bowman job class. Now the Free Mode update will be on the smaller side but we do plan on adding much more in the Free Mode update in February. The release date for Free Mode Henesys will be at the end of the month (January). It might bleed into Feb but so far everything is going as planned. Next week we will be going into some more skills and the overall stats of the Bowman Class and what changes it will do to your HP when you complete the questline for it.

Now on to some King's Fall news. Jelly our artist has finally completed Asuna's full art! It was really the last thing we needed to finish her questline and finally release the Henesys update. Here is a small preview of it. 

Art will be shown to Patrons in the coming weeks (First line art, then full body, then different clothing sets, and finally nude).

Once we are done with adding to Free Mode we will be finalizing the last of the Story quests for King's Fall and of course Asuna's Character Quests where she trains you to be a better swordsman. Both Asuna and Leonore and intertwined and by the end of both of their questlines, they will be meeting.  What you learn at the end of that though hehe. Oh there will be some tomfoolery!

Oh my what is going on in that picture? Hmmmm. Guess it's nothing...

Now as we build Asuna's Character Quests, you will be learning more about her and will slowly get her to like you. These quests run parallel to Leonore's which is very story heavy where as Asuna's is combat oriented. It was a design choice on my end to make it so that you have to complete Leonore's questline and The Domain has been unlocked before you can finish with Asuna's training, the reason for that is the Hero is building up his own small army to fight off the Conspiracy and the members. Can't go into more details to avoid spoilers but you will be learning a LOT as you play through both questlines. 

Now onto the big news of today. The release date of the Henesys update. I am spending more time away from my job right now so I am able to write more during the week. With that bit of news I am confidant we can make a early to mid February release date! This update has been so much fun to write and play through and now it will soon be in your hands! The Free Mode update release will more or less tell me what will be left to do in the King's Fall update so I think next week I will let you all know what date sounds perfect for releasing it.
