Weekly Blog Update 5/16/19 (Patreon)

Hello all,

We are still hard at work on the next update and like I mentioned last week, this next update is going to be massive. We keep piling on things and so far from what the tester has said he has enjoyed a lot of the new stuff.

Today I am going to talk about 2 things coming in the next update. The first being the Bestiary which is finally done.

So from now on you will have access to the bestiary  at the top left corner of the screen. By clicking on it you will see what monsters are in what area as well as stats, item drops, and information like how many you have killed or have been killed by. This will allow the player to farm items a lot easier since you won't have to take mental notes anymore. This will also tell you if a monster is as strong as you so you don't get into unwanted fights before hand. In the next update we are adding monsters that you will for sure not be able to defeat without a HUGE help in levels or weapons. This new addition will help warn you before hand.

The next thing I wanted to talk about is the addition of Character quests. In the new update you will meet a Walking Talking Immortal Mailbox. This mailbox will deliver mail from other characters around the world. In a way this is to help players find new content because it will be part of the new gameplay loop. Soon as a new update is out you rush to the nearest mailbox and that mailbox will let you know which characters got new quests.

Once you get the mail you will go to that NPC and that will start  a quest but sometimes you will get Character Quests. These are special quests that allow you to deepen the relationships with them and will give multiple rewards like Dreams (More on this soon). These quests are motivated by the Persona series and it's Social Links. The first Character Quest you will get is for Lucy.

This quest is called A Case of the Old and the reward for it is something many are going to appreciate it. This being the first Character Quest in the game it was made to be extremely simple and linear (Not all CQ's will be like this). Lucy's will play out mainly as a Visual Novel and slight point and click. There will be no combat here.

Once you are done you are going to Evolve Lucy into a different character. This next update will have 2 Character Quests; one for Lucy and the other for Maria. We hope you like them because they are made with a lot of love and will hopefully make you like the characters even more!

We are going to complete Lucy's CQ today and tomorrow we will begin on other quests for the NPC's and hopefully start Maria's this week as well. Next week's Blog will go into Dreams and a few other things. We are pushing for the update to release by the very end of this month but we will see if we can make that deadline.
