Menat (Street Fighter V) (Patreon)

Full resolution version of my Menat picture - which surprisingly got quite a lot of attention on twitter... Thanks a lot for that! I experimented quite a bit on it, playing a lot more with light than usual, and I had always wanted to draw some stuff on a dark background. 

So that's what it was all about.

I said on twitter that I wasn't super happy with it, which wasn't me trying to downplay it or anything, but my actual feelings. I'm not very satisfied with the pose I picked, as it hides her face - and faces are the most fun part to draw and look at, in my opinion. 

Unfortunately, I only realized that once I was already almost done with everything, and couldn't possibly change her entire pose without having to redraw pretty much everything, so I left it that way.

It seems I'm the only one bothered by this though, so maybe it was for the best. I still have a lot to learn about composition, posing and texturing things properly, but I at least learned a bit with this piece.
