I'm gonna be totally honest with you: I didn't want to draw this AT ALL! I was hoping and praying something else would win the Monthly Poll, because I did NOT want to draw Tobey Maguire. He's by far one of the unsexiest people I could think of. So after the Spideys won the voting I decided to focus on Tom's and Andrew's Pete and use Tobey in a way, that's more appropriate to him - as a meme 🙃

All the talking about body fluids and web shootings in the new movie was the inspiration for this one haha :D I'm a huge Spider-man fan and reader since I'm a child. For I'm an AMAZING SPIDER-MAN reader, I always liked Andrew#s depiction of Spidey the most because it's the one truest to the comics I read. So it was quite interesting to find a way to translate his real life Spidey back to the flat image.

Let me tell you that it's super time consuming to draw from real life people, because for each character you have to put in hours of work on a totally new character designs with only photos as reference. Having more than one character in a picture also takes more time - like obviously. Two characters equal double the amount of time taken for a piece. So this was the picture that ended up eating up the most time, which leads to me not having any other pieces ready to release. So be a bit patient with me the next few weeks 😁
