you all know my love for musicals - and my new obsession, as you might have guessed, is Hadestown. Just saw it the other night in London and then listened to the album non-stop at home. And while I was listening I drew this piece which I don't want to withhold from you, adding it to my musical NSFW collection alongside Hamilton, In The Heights and Phantom.

Hadestown is about the Orpheus-Eurydice story, which is told in parallel to the Hades-Persephone story. The tone is post-industrial and apocalyptic with a jazz-New Orleans vibe.

It's a mood! And I wanted to capture that mood and hope I've somehow managed to do it :D
