Hello all,

As you know, every now and then I talk about another adult game that I think deserves a bit more attention, and I’ll be doing that again today. I’m quite happy to be talking about this one, because it is made by a long time supporter of mine who was helpful in the early days of SoC, and now I get to return the favour.

So, without much further ado, the game I am going to be talking about today is Uni by Hizor. It is a slice of life visual novel game where you play as a young redheaded woman who returns school after some time off due to personal tragedy. You have to make decisions as to how she will live her life as an adult; including the friendships she forms at school, which afterschool activity to become involved in, and which job to take to pay her bills.  

In terms of other western adult games, the one it reminds me most of Good Girl Gone Bad (which is high praise), and while it doesn’t have as many routes as Eva’s game yet, Hiz is adding more choices all the time. The art is great, and there is already a good number of CGs, as well as outfits that the main character can wear, with more being added all the time. 

Let's talk about what I'm sure you guys want to know about - adult content. There are three other secondary female characters that the MC can interact with a lot - Kate, a blonde who works at the cafe, Lisa, who works at the bakery, and Violet who goes to school with the MC. Kink-wise, being set in the real world, it skews towards more realistic situations, but that isn’t to say some of them aren’t quite kinky. The main character also has dreams that allow for more fantastical sexual content as well, which is a nice touch. 

Hiz recently did a big update, 0.10.5, adding a bunch of new stuff and improving other things (you can read about it here), which is now free to the public. Since then he’s also put out a few more versions with more content available to backers at the very reasonable three dollar level.
