Jarabe a monster that dwells in the woods, it deceives adventurers by using its solidified syrup to make a jewel like rock and hiding it inside small holes in trees or rock formations.

When the adventurer tries to grab the fake jewel their hand gets jammed inside the hole due to the very sticky syrup Jarabe filled it with. Now with Jarabe's victim stuck it will pin them even more with additional syrup so they cannot move and it can have it's way with them.

So as they say "All that glitters is not gold"
