Dear Patrons! 

Thank you very much indeed for your support.  Without you I could not continue to produce content on a full-time basis.  In the last month I have had a few distractions like going to london with Nvidia and teaching extra survival courses. But, now I have nothing else to do but produce content right the way through to February! I will be working as hard as I can to make videos and livestreams.

1. Inspiring Build of the Month

This month Keralis and I visited the ardacraft server. Here are their details:

To get on the server go to the website above and download the launcher and follow the instructions

They use a custom launcher for Java edition which means they use mods and a custom texture pack called conquest reforged.  They sure do put it to good use! Check out the pictures below.  Incredibily they have been working to recreate the world of JRR Tolkien from the Lord of the Rings Books.  This world is called Middle Earth.

We both thought that this was probably the best build server we have ever seen.  They have over 100 warps including the shire with Bag-End included.  It was amazing to walk through Bilbo's house at one moment and then be totally lost in mountain mines the next.  If you have the time and a PC or mac do check out their website as the installer is really easy to use.  

2. Server News

The survival server was possibly going to be moved onto the creative server.  But, we had problems getting the nether to work so it will be staying put.  I am going to be doing more streams from survival on http://twitch.tv/andyisyoda around 9pm uk time.

The creative server had a massive change! We have brought back an older map and are bringing it back to life.  The map is to be found at warp kalak.  If you are a jedirebel rank you can only add small details like cars and news-stands.  If you are a jediknight rank you can build houses and small shops or stores.  If you are jedimaster rank or above you can build anything.  Please check the map at  http://151.80.178.254:8123/  and stick to building in existing plots.  Jedi Masters and above can make new plots in areas.  Please all try to work together to add more builds.  Please put a sign in front of new builds with your name and 2019 on it so we know it is a new build.  I am going to be starting a new livestream series called city building season 3.  This will be on youtube at 4pm uk time and 11pm uk time.  I want to record with replay mod and get help with each project so we can watch it back as a timelapse VOD.  Please build the right kind of building in the correct area.  

3. My News

I taught an Urban survival course for the first time as I had to cover for a colleague who could not make it.  If you would like to come on one of my woodland courses next year in England then get in touch as I can get you 10% off!! The highlight of the urban course was cooking 3 pizzas in a make-shift oven.  We lit a fire under a metal dust bin and it cooked the pizzas in just 7 minutes!

I also saw some awesome fungi on a survival trip in north yorkshire!

The hightlight of October was a trip to London.  I nipped into google HQ to see my partner manager and have lunch with him.  Google employees get free breakfast, lunch and dinner! The lunch was epic - never seen such healthy and awesome food in one place! I had rainbow trout to give you some idea!  I got a good view from the top of the HQ over London and took some video which I will be editing for Skywalker Patrons.  Then it was off to a meeting with Nvidia.  They let me play their little map which shows off the amazing path tracing graphics of the latest version of Bedrock Minecraft which is yet to launch.  The launch is soon though.  The Nvidia Europe team were awesome and they are very proud of their partnership with Microsoft.
