February Newsletter (Patreon)

Welcome to the late February Newsletter! I will be trying to get these out on the first of each month from now on.  For your inspiring build of the month we can look at our server and the fantastic Natural History Museum built by Sebxx_Danmark:

This wonderful build has a huge volume of space inside for exhibits and reminds me of museums I have seen in London and Washington DC.  There is plenty of light coming in through skylights and glass domes to light up the things on show.  Seb has put some dinosaur fossil skeletons into it so far and even a woolly mammoth.  He is in the process of adding more detail inside and we look forward to the grand opening! 

This is such an impressive build and am so glad it is on the server! Other server news: The city hall is 90% finished.  A courthouse is being built by N0tid.  Waredog_ has put in his police station, FBI building, mexican restaurant and firehouse! This city block by Waredog is exactly what we need on the map.  Ghostwriter is building his own city block and has a gym, offices and high-end mall.  Other builders have been doing offices, townhouses and stores.  The railway station is 80% done too.  Today I expanded the city North and started on the first river.  I plan to build a cloud forest like the one in Singapore near the river.

Personal news: I have still to decide on which monitor to buy and am leaving the decision to the day I come back from Vidcon London.  At the weekend I was teaching survival to some young survivors and their parents.  They all did very well lighting fires with lighters, cotton wool and even birch tree bark and fatwood.

One of the coolest things we found was a rabbit skull!

I will be going to Vidcon in London between the 13th of February and the 18th.  This will mean no livestreaming on those dates and I will really miss building the city! If you have any questions about what you are building please post them in the new patron chat on discord.  More server news: we have a new warp cars - please ask to be added to the plot so you can copy and paste cars.  It would be great to have more cars added to the map so feel free to do that.

This has been a great month on youtube for me with my 13 upgrades videos doing very well. I can go to London feeling like a real youtuber.  Thanks so much again for your support and all the amazing donations in the live streams - it really does blow me away that this community not only enjoys my content and the city we are making together but also stream tips - it means the world to me.
