Serenity (C2-E2) Devlog 3 (Public) (Patreon)

Happy Friday everyone!

I have a few things to tell you in this devlog. First, I'm going to start posting these devlogs every weekend (sometime between Friday and Sunday). Every other devlog will be public. The patron version will usually contain a bit more information about the game/story and will include a nice lewd image. Patron devlogs are for all tiers ($2 and up).

The next thing is streams. I've been contemplating doing streams for patrons in the $10 and up tiers. Over the last couple of days, I started testing the process to see how it would work for me. Big thanks to Trixy for her help in testing the end-user experience and being so patient with me while I worked out the kinks (thank you!). I won't be talking during these streams because, well (aside from not having a mic) I'm not much of a talker while I work on rendering. Instead, I'll just have music playing from my games, or other similar music that I like which I normally listen to while working. The intent here is to just give you a glimpse of how I work through scenes. You'll see how slow I am about poses, camera angles, lighting, etc... Because I constantly change things until I like what I am seeing. Now later on (uh, once I buy a nice mic haha) I'll probably do some streams where we can talk back and forth about what I am doing and perhaps even get input on a scene from you guys. I have been asked probably a zillion times about creating characters, so maybe we can do a stream on that process at some point. I'll make an announcement when I am ready to do the first stream.

Okay, now the actual devlog on Serenity C2 - E2... I am still working (writing/coding) the final scene - which is the date with Triss and Lili. I've rewritten this thing like 5 times now. But I think I've settled on how it will play out finally. It's a long scene with a lot of new elements and assets I recently commissioned from a modder (Fouetty). Yesterday I had done so much typing, I kept making mistakes (typos), so I had to shut it down for the day and step away. I am hoping to wrap this up over this weekend, which means I'll start working on the graphics next week if all goes to plan. I have some commissions to do for my Fade Crown tier, so I'll work on those first.

That's really all I have for this update. When I get ready to do the first stream, I'll post an announcement on all of my sites. The stream will be in my Discord in the 'upper tiers' section. If you're on one of those tiers, you should be able to see the section. If not, (if you didn't get your Discord role) DM me so that we can fix that.
