Serenity 1.3 Devlog (BIG POST) plus January Wallpaper (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Monday's suck! But guess what... I aim to make it just a bit better in my own way. Today, I have for you all preview images I have released recently plus a couple of new ones. Also, you'll find the Desktop Wallpaper for January (links at end of this post). Yes, I am late with this month's wallpaper, sorry about that. I've been focused on the update, so bear with me!

January 2022 Wallpaper - Today I have a special wallpaper with two characters from my upcoming project, Last Human. Sweet Natalie finally gets a small smile out of Alexis while playing out in the snow. Links to download 4k and 1920X1080 versions below.

Serenity 1.3 Development - I told you guys I was shooting for a beta release by 28 January (this Friday). It is going to be very close. It could be a few days later than that, just depends. I won't rush to make that deadline and sacrifice my plans for this release. It's an important update... As it will be the last update to this build (Chapter 1). So, I want it to be a good one. Currently, I am about 80% done with rendering graphics. But I will have to go through and finish adding the music, and of course proofread.

Frequently Asked Questions - I see a lot of comments/questions from all of my sites lately. So, I'll try to cover some of those here...

Will this be the end of Serenity?
NO! We haven't even gotten into Serenity yet. Think of Chapter One as the "prologue". I have almost 2 more chapters already planned. So, don't panic! There is more to come from Serenity!

Will Serenity or Last Human have NTR?
Absolutely not. Serenity only has one other male character (Demitre, the father). Last Human has no other male characters planned other than the MC himself. If you consider sexual contact between two girls in your harem as NTR, sorry but I respectfully disagree with that. That is not NTR. And neither of my games go overboard with sexual contact between the girls.

When will Serenity 1.3 get released?
Quick answer: When it's done. See above. I won't rush it, but I am working on it every day.

When will Last Human 0.1 get released?
That is a good question. When it's done? LOL... Seriously though, LH is a bit more complicated story-wise... and graphics-wise for that matter. But I am shooting for its first release to happen two months after Serenity 1.3 has gone public. That would roughly be around the end of March.

I love the music in Serenity, how can I make my own playlist to listen?
Inside the Serenity folder, under "game" there is a folder named "audio". All music is in that folder in MP3 format and can be added to your playlist right from that folder. Keep in mind that all music in that folder is copyright protected (I have a license to use it in my projects). So, I wouldn't try to use it in your projects. Two songs in that folder are my own composition and can be freely used anywhere - just please credit me with the music if you use it, that is all I ask. Those songs are "From Within" (fromwithin.mp3) and "Show Me" (showme.mp3).

Are you going to make Girl Trouble into a visual novel?
Not at this time, no. That is not to say it isn't being considered for a project later on. A lot of rework needs to be done on that story to make it work. And, some story issues need to be resolved. If I get enough feedback about GT, I'll (more seriously) consider making it a VN. You can read the story here: Girl Trouble - Chapter 1 (n2thefire.net)
Ignore the old and goofy HS1 pictures I made. Those would not be used in a VN.

Will you make a special render for me of (this character)?
Join my Fade Crown tier for one month and I'll do my best for you. That is not me trying to make a buck... I work 2 jobs counting this one, so my time is precious, and I have limited spots on that tier even.

Do you need a proofreader? I would like to help!
No thank you. I do not use proofreaders because I always disagree with them (outside of general misspellings). I have a way of verbalizing in text, and I don't want to change that. Yes, I make up words. Yes, some of those words are not in the dictionary. I don't care. LOL
