Hobgoblins are a martial species, taller and more muscular than their Goblin offshoot, they are intelligent and purposeful. Though alone, they are relatively slight compared to the warriors of other species, in the numbers normally expected in a full-blown hobgoblin assault, they are formidable both in ground combat and siege craft. Their deep sense of the command chain means that it's extremely hard to rout an army through precision targets as they will fall into the next logical leading formation.
