Oh right also are there any plans for more content for the Nicole's risky jobs game?

HotGlue

Nicole's Risky Job is a finished game. There are no plans to continue its development.

Dang alright I understand hope to see more Nicole content in the future but for now I'll enjoy playing Nude Byte cuz it's a hella fun game

Casey

so.... nude byte gallery when? XD (jk, i know the game is still under massive development, but its so fun! i look forward to see how the finished product comes out!)

Elden Ring DLC

Nice work so far. One thing I want to mention since this project is still early, is that some option to use higher-polygon models for the playable characters would be nice. The tits in particular are pretty low-poly. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see a way to use the 'default' cards, such as Nicole. The card from getting to level 10 on the first area seems to be very weak, but maybe the idea is that they can be upgraded and I just missed that. Your other games usually have an interesting story, and I'm curious if we'll get to see some of that design here, down the road. Early development of course. Keep it up!

HotGlue

A gallery will surely be nice, but such feature is something I have to look into first.

HotGlue

Thank you. -I'll take note of the higher-polys, but I can't make any promises. -Only "Upgrade Cards" can be obtained and equipped. "Weapon Cards" (Nicole included) are only available by random that changes every hour. -Sadly, story is something I had to remove when creating this game in order to make the development reasonable.

Casey

That's understandable, and if it doesnt work out thats fine. I just though because Nicole's risky jobs had one, it would be cool to have a gallery for cards, or capture sequences even

I'm honestly really loving the game. The gameplay is a lot easier to understand in this version. I will say that more often than not I'm switching between the Cat and the Mouse, as their powers seem the best so far. That said, sometimes they get stuck with poor weapons so I'll switch to another character. The randomized weapons idea makes the game more interesting, since you have to change up your gameplay to match. I love the giantess enemies. I think it's really cool that you can stun them, but the only way to actually defeat them is to find their little fairy true body and kill it. Though I think the AI for the fairy should probably try and keep a distance from you rather than roaming around randomly, since there were a couple times the fairy just ended up next to me as I was trying to stun the giant. I love the cards, the art is wonderful and it's really awesome seeing the multiple versions of the card art unlocked through the passcodes. I know that multiplayer doesn't seem in the plans for the game, but honestly a co-op mode sounds extremely fun for harder difficulties! Regardless, I'm super excited to see where the game goes from here! PS: I had to go and unlock all the cards! In the future it would be cool to see more boss-type enemies like the giantesses and see if those types of enemies increase in numbers with the difficulty level.

You can view all the cards in the Card Collection inside the Customize menu

I have a little bug with the tutorial... when the game say me to press to switch character this don't work and i'm stuck... what can i do to avoid this ? (Sorry in advance pour the bad english)

HotGlue

I am sorry for the inconvenience. I have tried it myself (by Keyboard and Gamepad), and I don't experience the problem. Maybe the keyboard you're using is different for pressing numbers? I have heard of laptops and small keyboards where the fn key is needed to press a number key. Eitherway, I published a new version on Gamejolt, 3.1. manyakisgames.gamejolt.io/nudebyte In the new version, the 4 maps can now be played at the start. It's not required to finish the Tutorial anymore. I hope this can help.

HotGlue

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy the new version! Sadly, Multiplayer isn't in the plan, and it may never will be, even if I want to. For the boss-type enemies, there will be more as planned. But sadly, only the giantess is the giant one. The next one I'm working on is even smaller than the players: https://i.imgur.com/jzjy2wU.jpg

Thought I'd finally give this a download after a while. The game is interesting enough to grab my interest for a few hours, but I have some feedback to improve it: - I know the "shifting text" is part of the aesthetic of Nude Byte, but it's a bit annoying to read when it's enabled by default, especially in the disclaimer texts at the start. I don't have dyslexia, but I think the text effects should be disabled for important text boxes. - If I enter the 3-dollar tier passcode, the game should automatically unlock the lower-tier features without me having to enter those passcodes either. - The tutorial doesn't seem to mention some of the different types of terrain, especially the one that you can stand on while shooting through it. - The tutorial doesn't really demonstrate the different weapons available, maybe a practice area would be good for this? - UI could stand to consolidate the character's HP bars and percentages to one side of the screen. - I think it might be a good idea to separate the abilities from the characters' species. Splatoon placed a heavy emphasis on customization, but whether you played as an Inkling or Octoling didn't make an impact on gameplay. - I think it would also be good to have the four characters spawn together. I once had my Bunny get caught by a Gigabyte shortly after spawning. - It might be easier to control three characters and allow the player to switch to the "next" or "previous" using Q and E, but I can guess this might mess with the game balance. - Since we're controlling all four characters, it would be nice if we could swap what weapons are used between them. For instance, I personally would rather not combine Dodge-Roll with a low fire-rate weapon like Raven (Sniper). And to guarantee that Dash gets combined with a short-range weapon. - Another issue with randomly-determined weapons is that it makes it harder to notice the difference that power-up cards provide. - When you accidentally fall off of the map as a character, I think they spend too long falling. That said, I really enjoy dashing around everywhere as the Kitty.

HotGlue

Thank you for your feedback! I'll definitely take note of these, but I can't promise I can implement them.

Bug Report: Mouse and controller each have their own viewfinder. Did not really know or aimed. (Suggestion to make the cursor invisible when the controller is active.) Suggested character: Teen Cream The Rabbit.
