[ANNOUNCEMENT] HUGE BULLETIN! (Patreon)

Hello everyone and happy new year!  I want to share you a lot of stuff that has been on my mind, as well as a reflection of the year, and what's to come this new year. Let's start with wrapping up what happened on 2023.

2023 Wrap-up

I'm going to recap in 2 main sections what happend through the year: the good and the bad.

The bad

As you may know, during the year I had one of the biggest worries in my life, which forced me to take very rash decisions, and almost had to quit this path for good, but luckily, everything turned out for the better thanks to the help of my family, friends, and of course your support, thanks to your empathy and patience for my pending comms and commissioning me on that emergency period really helped me a lot. Thank you.

The good

I started with the bad so I can end the wrap in a high note instead of a lower one. Some of you know that at the end of 2022, I did had for myself some goals, some I abandoned them, but others were so incredibly surpassed. Let me go through some of them.

Twitter/X follower count: I started the year with around 2k followers and my goal was to get at least 3k, now I'm almost at 20k FOLLOWERS!!  I'm happy that I incredibly overshot this goal.

Pixiv:This is already touching 2024 but i think it still counts; I started at the end of the year posting in pixiv again, and I have been in the top rankings incredibly 4 days in a row! thank you!

Paysites: This year I did a massive change for paysites, and for the first time ever, they became an actual source of income (previously nearly 90% of my income came from commissions) and this is all thanks to your support! Also, I want to specially thank your patience for the multiple times I faced challenges that stopped me from posting every week, and how you maintained your support despite that. Because of that, I have plans for 2024 for the Paysites.

What's new in 2024?

This new year I'm making new changes in my paysites, this in answer to a change of philosophy I'm going to do for my works. I'm aware some of you saw one of my tweets where I asked regarding what to do when comparing drawing things I want vs what other want. Also, the last part of the year, I did something I haven't done in a lot of time, I gave myself freedom to draw things I liked, and it felt amazing. I dont hate comms, but I have been so immersed in commissions that I deprived myself from drawing things I wanted to draw for so long it even started to burn me out, I was even thinking if what happened through the year got into me, but doing the big wave of Kronii drawings gave me a new breath, and I re-confirmed my love for drawing. Therefore, one of my main goals this year will be the following:

Making the paysites my main source of income.

Now this may not sound nice for some of you, and I thank your everlasting support with commissions, but I want to reduce the time I dedicate to them, since for the entirety of 2023, over 90% of the total time I dedicated to drawing was dedicated exclusively to commissions, which deprived me from updating as frequently as I'd like to both my paysites and public sites, and I want to change that. This is a process that will begin slowly, so it's not like I'm not going to accept not a single commission on 2024.

With that out of the way, I'll continue introducing what's new to come this year.

New Tier: Elder Dragon

In order to dedicate more time to my paysites and my supporters, I decided to create a new supporting tier with limited slots. It will have a price of 40 USD, and it will have the following:

• Right to 1x free Lineart base drawing + 2 alts per month. Alts can be Difference, outfit difference or an Extra Character.
  This will be a limited tier. For starters, Only 5 slots will be available per month, which can be changed in the future.
  You can't ask or offer payment for more than this.
  The drawings will follow my exact commission rules. Please take a look about what I do and I don't do before supporting on this tier.
  Please take a look at the details of the sketches rules in the discord server in the ⁠sketch-request channel.
  
• All the previous tiers benefits
• All the members of this tier will be asked to reach out to talk about their drawing requests.
• The drawings will be available for everyone on Baby Dragon tier +.

Discord Server, officially open for supporters!

The discord server will be completely revamped as a hub where you will be able to chat with me and other members! and I may do drawing streams time to time.

The first roll-out will be to supporters only, and later we will have a public roll-out!

New feature: Monthly polls

Yes we'll try doing polls once again, last time ended not so good but i still want to do it.

Now there will be polls that I will choose a theme to vote for the rewards I will draw for the month, and the members of each tier can participate in the following:

Baby Dragon: Can vote and each vote equals to 1 vote

Warrior Dragon: Can nominate and each vote equals to 2 votes

New feature: Poll nomination (Warrior Dragon +)

Every month, I will choose a theme, and Warrior Dragon+ members will be able to nominate characters and/or situations to be polled and voted after for the drawing of the month.  You can nominate through the following methods:

• Nomination channel on discord
• Reply to the nomination post on Patreon

Commission Benefits

I will be opening commissions less than before, but I'd like to also include as part of the benefits of supporting me having early access to my commissions, which will be as follows:

• Elder Dragon: Can commission as early as 7 days before opening them
• Warrior Dragon: Can commission as early as 4 days before opening them
• Baby Dragon: Can commission as early as 2 days before opening them

Prices, changes and more info regarding commissions will be disclosed next time I open them!

Poll process and rules

The poll process is the following with the following timeframes:

• Last Monday of the month: Nomination period opens until Sunday of that same week, and I will say the theme.
• Last Sunday of the month: Nomination period ends, and I will pick the nominees for the poll.
• Monday of the next week: Voting opens, and ends on the Sunday of the same week. Times of open/close will variate according to my availability, please don't wait until the last day to vote/nominate.

In example, starting now, the timeframe will be the following:

• Nomination period opens: January, Monday 29th
• Nomination period closes: February, Sunday 4th
• Polling period opens: February, Monday 5th
• Polling period closes: February, Sunday 11th

1) ONE VOTE PER USER, AND EACH USER CAN ONLY VOTE ON ONE POLL.

I have established methods to find out cheaters, multi-voters and voting-link leaks.

I will trust you at the beginning, and assuming nobody will cheat, and I won't be harsh with the rules.

If cheating is found, I will be forced to take action, which will mean harsher controls to avoid cheating, and making the process a little more difficult. I don't want to do this, so please don't cheat. If cheating is found, IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO WITCH HUNT.

2) Please vote using the link of the highest tier available to you.

That's about it! These are the timeframes for each change:

January 29th, 2024

• Nomination feature for Warrior Dragons

February 2024

• New Role: Elder Dragon with the sketch feature
• Polling system
