The Hecklefang Hyenard are ready to raid! The latest Battle Yak Miniatures Battle Pack will be available early this September!

The Hecklefang Hyenard are the most feared of all the tribes. The crafty Hecklefang Scrappers have been hardened in conflict, proving themselves to be cunning and vicious warriors.

With scratchbuilt armaments made of plunder from their raids, Scrappers know how to turn anything into an advantage. Those who excell in combat seize the choicest loot for themselves, and with enough victories can assemble suits of scavenged plate armor, becoming known as Iron-Collars.

Both Hecklefang Scrappers and Iron-Collars make use of a variety of customization options, including modular heads, weapons, and armor.

The hostile wilderness the Hecklefang call home is prowled by all manner of hostile beasts, but the hyenard share a special affinity for the very creatures they were magically shaped from - the Beastcackle Hyena.

These vicious beasts can accompany the Hecklefang into battle, and some determined hyenard warriors have even mastered the art of training the creatures to serve as mounts.

Beastcackle Raiders steer their fierce mounts into the thickest fighting, shattering enemy formations and running down fleeing prey.

On rare occasions, the hyenard welcome especially monstrous members into their tribe, with the life-shaping magic that formed them from ordinary beasts mutating in especially frightening new ways. With their animal attributes monstrously magnified, the Beastcackle Hyenataur charge gleefully into battle, keeping pace alongside their hyena companions on four lower legs.

All Beastcackle hyenard share customization options with the Hecklefang units. Beastcackle Raiders are printed separately from their hyena mounts.

The Hecklefang lair in regions choked with animal graveyards and bubbling tar pits, concentrations of elemental death and decay that their shamans draw upon to work wicked and depraved necromantic sorcery.

The sorcery of the Hecklefang necro-shamans causes creatures of animate tar to heave themselves out of the bubbling pits and slough into battle as monstrous shock troopers. Possessed of a primitive but cruel intellect, these Tar Pit Elementals enjoy drowning the enemy in black bubbling pitch and stealing their bones to add to their ever-growing mass.

After a successful raid, the most successful Huntresses enjoy unwinding with platters of roasted meat and the companionship of their favored Serviles, hyenards of lower tribal status. The Hecklefang raid hard and they play hard.
