Hello Battle Yak Warriors! I have an exciting announcement to share!

After numerous recommendations from the Battle Yak community on Discord and through Patreon messaging, I reached out to the highly regarded tabletop ruleset creator OnePageRules about pairing their many excellent and easy-to-use gaming systems with the extensive and ever-growing Battle Yak Miniatures range of 3D printable tabletop minis.

Battle Yak Miniatures has released a great many mini sets via monthly Battle Pack releases, but I've never had much of a head for numbers, or words, or rules or balance or anything along those lines, so every miniature I've ever designed has been a standalone piece of art rather than a dedicated tabletop game-piece.

With OnePageRules' game systems, you can find a ruleset compatible with pretty much every character and creature Battle Yak Miniatures has to offer. Play the scifi-themed Sentinels of Primus and the Dynasty of Nul with the Grimdark Future ruleset, or match the high fantasy flavored Cankerfen Boggrots and Frostforge Reclaimers with the Age of Fantasy system. Last month's release, the Plagueheart Defilers, can be used with either setting, as the Age of Fantasy's Rift Daemons of Plague or Grimdark Future's Wormhole Daemons.

Battle Yak Miniatures offers many such synergies between Battle Packs and OPR's rules. With OnePageRules game systems, you can field armies of Battle Yak Miniatures using simple and fun gaming systems designed to be fast to learn and easy to play.

How to Play OnePageRules with Battle Yak Miniatures

This February, Battle Yak Miniatures' latest Battle Pack release is the ferocious Beastorkk Cabal, an army of genetically engineered killing machines who exist to wage war. The Beastorkk range of minis is an excellent example of a Battle Yak Miniatures release that is compatible with OPR rulesets - the Beastorkk would be ideal for use with the Grimdark Future setting's Orc Marauders army.

To use Battle Yak Miniatures' minis with OPRs game systems, simply:

1. Visit https://onepagerules.com and take a look at their game systems to find one that appeals to you.

2. Select the army you want to play and start putting together a list.

3. Match Battle Yak minis to the army you want to play. If you have any questions about themes or rules, feel free to ask on either the Battle Yak or OPR Discord.

4. Hit the tabletop with your Battle Yak army and OPR's rules!

Future Releases and OPR Compatibility

Battle Yak Miniatures will continue to develop whatever varied themes and concepts I feel like creating, just like always. There will no doubt be many opportunities to use Battle Yak minis with OnePageRules' game systems, and even if a Battle Pack release is not immediately compatible with an existing ruleset OPR has provided the means for crafting and customizing unique new units, factions, and rules with their custom points calculators.

OnePageRules' game systems will not restrict or dictate the path Battle Yak Miniatures will take in creating Battle Pack themes - these systems will simply allow fans of Battle Yak Miniatures a quick and easy way to bring their armies to the gaming table.
