Enjoy this small sculpting preview of the Dynasty of Nul, the upcoming October Battle Pack! An appropriately spooky theme for the month of Halloween, the Dyansty of Nul will feature figures such as these Risen Legionnaires! Like previous releases, the October Battle Pack will include lots of modular options for customizing your figs, such as these modular heads!

There will also be modular armor options for upgrading a Risen Legionnaire into an Eternal Legionnaire, a leader for the lesser ranks!

The head variety certainly suggests they can pull double duty as D&D warforged constructs and golems, as well as... space Egyptian robots. The weapons will be the main hurdle there; do some hands holding grimdark high tech, some holding lower fantasy tech? I assume there's going to be some variety in body shapes beyond a basic humanoid skeleton? Be nice to see both some beefy and some shorter frames.

At their core the Dynasty is a fantasy faction that uses magic-powered technology. I'll be aiming for a tech-style that could pull double-duty as either fantasy magi-tech or pure sci-fi high-tech. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, as the classic saying goes. This'll be reflected in their weaponry. There will definitely be different shapes to reflect different units. If you're going to the trouble to necrotech an elite soldier back to life in a shiny new metal body, there's no law that says the new body can't be much (much) bigger than his old one.
