Reforging - New Patron Goals (and Vendor Tiers!) (Patreon)

Hello everyone! It's been a few months since Battle Yak Miniatures has launched, and the latest Battle Pack release for this August will be available early August 2nd! Take a look at this sneak peek for the upcoming release!

I've had a few free days this month to look over what Battle Yak Miniatures has to offer fans of tabletop gaming and 3D printing, and this reflection has led to this post where I plan to roll out some improvements.

Firstly, there are now Two New Battle Yak Miniatures Subscription Tiers available aimed at patrons who are looking to Print and Sell Battle Yak Miniatures figures. Since I don't presently have the facilities or resources to produce and distribute physical miniatures myself, I've decided to add these tiers to open up the possibility for patrons to do so.

Similar to the Warrior tiers, these new Vendor tiers offer standard and limited discount options for patrons. The Caravan Yak Vendor tier grants patrons permission to print and sell minis obtained through the Battle Yak Miniatures Patreon, while the more limited Golden Caravan Yak Vendor tier grants the same permission at a discount for early subscribers. So if you've been filled with a burning desire to print off a bunch of Battle Yak minis and sell them for sick bank, sign up with these tiers.

Secondly, I've reviewed my previous Patron Goals, and decided that some of them weren't as exciting as they ought to be, so I've made a number of revisions to them that I hope will make them more compelling to look forwards to unlocking.

50 Patrons (this one's gettin' close!)

-Patrons of Warrior-tier and above will be able to vote to determine the theme of Monthly Battle Packs! Patrons will vote to choose a new theme every month.
-The weekly 25% off Patron Discount for the Battle Yak Miniatures MyMiniFactory store will be extended to the first 2 weeks every month!

75 Patrons

-Every monthly Battle Pack will have a guaranteed addition of Even More Modular Armaments for characters, including banners, icons, and head variants.
-A brand new sculpt for the Bloated Specter figure will be added to the Beyond Mortality collection, becoming permanently accessible to Warrior-tier patrons through the Battle Box!
-25 new Bloodthirsty Battle Yak Warrior tiers will be opened! Get a sweet discount on all Battle Yak releases!
-The  25% off Patron Discount for the online store will be extended to cover the entire month!

100 Patrons

-Every monthly Battle Pack will have a guaranteed addition of Two Extra Modular Characters, bringing the total minimum number of characters sculpts to 6 every month!
-A brand new sculpt for the Tall Man figure will be added to the Beyond Mortality collection, becoming permanently accessible to Warrior-tier patrons through the Battle Box!
-A special Epic Paracausalist sculpt will be produced and made available during the month following it's completion! Subscribers for that month can enjoy this bonus figure featuring the Paracausalist employing his arcane weaponry against marauding Ectomorphs to spectacular effect, with a detailed themed base!
-The Patron Discount for the online store will be increased to 30% off!

125 Patrons

-A brand new Ectomorph creature will be added to the Beyond Mortality collection, the Boogeyman! Multiple sculpts of this haunting enemy will be created, becoming permanently accessible to Warrior-tier patrons through the Battle Box!
-25 new Bloodthirsty Battle Yak Warrior tiers will be opened! Get a sweet discount on all Battle Yak releases!

150 Patrons

-A brand new hero character will be added to the Beyond Mortality collection, the Necronaut! This stalwart hero will become permanently accessible through the Battle Box!
-A special Epic Necronaut sculpt will be produced and made available during the month following it's completion! Like the Epic Paracaualist, this figure will feature the Necronaut with a detailed themed base!
-Monthly Battle Packs will now include a unique special Hero Character! This brings the total minimum number of characters sculpts to 7 every month!
-The Patron Discount for the online store will be increased to 35% off!

These changes I hope will make unlocking goals more exciting and more achievable, granting more new figures and bonuses for patrons! That's all for now, keep an eye out for upcoming news from Battle Yak Miniatures! 

Edit: A note about Pre-supported Miniatures!

I've had a few folks ask about pre-supported files, and this is something I want to provide for all Battle Yak releases regardless of patron goals. It'll just be a matter of working pre-supported files into my monthly workflow, which I'm in the process of doing! Pre-supported files will become the standard going forwards soon.
